Volunteer student’s reflection from the reading activity on 2019. 10. 19

I only talked with Grandpa Bae xx, and hearing stories about his school days and the life he has lived made me realize once again what an amazing person he is. And when I heard that he had been looking for us, it felt like the conversations he shares with us are helpful to him, so I felt very proud! I was worried it might be difficult since we are students he has only seen a few times, but I was glad that he opened up and shared his heart with us comfortably!

While volunteering, I came to know the lives of the elderly and their life stories, and it was so, so wonderful. I was very happy to be able to give even a little energy to the elderly. Although it was a short time, I was happy to laugh and share fun stories with them. I thought it would be great if there were more volunteer activities like this in the future.

We will become Jejung Convalescent Hospital.

Twice a month (every other Saturday)

From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in each ward
